CPC Anthem & School Song

CPC Bali Anthem

I Pledge to thee, O CPC
Thy banner ever to unfurl
To Father, Son and Holy Ghost
Our tribute rise like Abel’s smoke
For O’Neill, Rudin and many more,
Whose labour sealed within our hearts
A love for learning that abides
And a heritage of honour true

Refrain
Ding, says the morning bell,
Rise and fill the passing hours
Echoes of singing in the chapel a little walk away
Cornchaff on Saturday, Sunday the Holy Trinity
go to brooks and be caught, you will cut the grass.
The contest is keen, the rules very stern,
only the best are rewarded
nineteen-seventy two, girls in bungalow five
joined the boys in the quest for the Golden Fleece

To this enduring foundation
all who thirst for knowledge shall repair
by the rugged brow of Matterhorn
where genius is with passion bred
Bali, where duty is the law
with love for God and fellow man
for nations great of such are made
who trust in God and do the right

CPC Bali School Song

Courage, brother! do not stumble,
though your path be dark as night;
there’s a star to guide the humble:
trust in God, and do the right.
Let the road be rough and dreary,
and its end far out of sight;
foot it bravely; strong or weary,
trust in God, and do the right.

Perish policy and cunning,
perish all that fears the light!
Whether losing, whether winning,
trust in God, and do the right.
Some will hate you, some will love you,
some will flatter, some will slight;
heed them not, and look above you:
trust in God, and do the right.

Simple rule and safest guiding,
inward peace and inward might,
star upon our path abiding,
trust in God and do the right.
Courage, brother! do not stumble,
though your path be dark as night;
there’s a star to guide the humble:
trust in God, and do the right.
