CPC Leadership

A WORD PRESENTED BY THE PRINCIPAL OF CPC BALI, Mr. NUBED RANSOME NJWEHMI TOWARDS THE TWIN ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF CPC BALI AT 75 AND BOBA AT 50.

The BOBANS,
Distinguished Personalities,
Ladies and Gentlemen

On behalf of the Staff, students and entire CPC BALI community, l heartily welcome you to CPC Bali on the Eve of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of this great institution and the Golden Jubilee Celebration of BOBA. It’s a wonderful experience having to address BOBANs on behalf of the great CPC BALI that contributed greatly in making us the great men and ladies that we are today.

Preparations are heightening up towards these great events. So far, the flow of potable water on campus is steady, the playgrounds have been rehabilitated, the lawns on campus have been cleared, rehabilitation of streetlights on campus is ongoing, allocation of parking lots in progress etc.

The students are very anxious to see the Great Leaders, people of integrity and stakeholders of the society that had passed through this great institution where they now belong.

Much cleaning is going on in and around the campus, a lot of excitement is on campus towards the inter house competitions, traditional dances to Grace this occasion, various exciting activities etc.

We are very happy for the much concern expressed by BOBANs towards raising the status of their alma-mater. CPC Bali has been a great institution and will continue standing tall amongst others because of the wonderful care given to the school by the BOBANS and the Proprietor, the Moderator of the PCC, the Rt. Rev. Dr. FONKI SAMUEL FORBA.

The School Administration is calling on all the BOBANS and other guests or well-wishers to be part of this twin celebrations. It will be a wonderful occasion because those on the ground are leaving no stone unturned to give the occasion the magnitude that it deserves.

On an occasion of this nature, one has to recognize the level of intellectual, moral and other forms of knowledge imparted in the BOBANS with the fear of GOD.

I wish to thank BOBANs for the regular support given to the school. This has greatly motivated the staff and students, the most recent being the renovation of seven classrooms and four dormitories by BOBA GENERAL. Some students currently excelling in the school are under the sponsorship of BOBA Scholarships.

We are doing our best as the personnel on spot to take back the school to what it used to be during it’s glorious days and why not go beyond. It has been a difficult task to move up to this point considering the devastation suffered by the school in recent years.

The school just participated in the Presbyterian Education Authority Sporting Meet which took place in Bamenda hosted by PSS Mankon and emerged overall fourth out of the thirteen schools that participated.

As usual the BOBANs, batch of 2014 supported the school with a very nice set of jerseys during the games. We once more felt the wonderful spirit of BOBANS and CPC Bali. With the very high level of excitement amongst the CPC Bali students of today, it is very common to get some of them saying: l am a BOBAN, It is not easy to be a BOBAN, There is dignity in Labour etc.

The academic spirit is again growing within the community after some years of difficulties.

Despite the quick pace of recovery of the institution, some difficulties are still faced at the level of care for the large campus and rehabilitation of other logistics.

On behalf of the School Administration, I pray for a happy and successful Twin Anniversary Celebration of CPC Bali at 75 and BOBA at 50.

Thanks,
Nubed RANSOME Njwehmi
PRINCIPAL, CPC BALI.
